This Payment & Billing Policy explains how Precision Research UK Ltd processes payments, what payment methods we accept, and how billing is handled for orders placed at precisionresearchuk.co.uk. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We currently accept the following payment methods at checkout:
- Instant Bank Transfer — fast, secure bank-to-bank payment via Wallid.
All payments are processed in British Pounds (GBP, £). If your bank account is denominated in a different currency, your bank will apply its standard exchange rate at the time of payment.
Coming soon: We are currently expanding our checkout to include additional payment options such as debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. If a specific payment method is essential for your order, please contact us before placing your order.
2. When Payment is Taken
Payment is taken in full at the time you place your order. No order will be dispatched until payment has been successfully cleared into our nominated business account. You will receive an order confirmation by email as soon as payment is confirmed.
3. Order Confirmation & Invoices
After a successful payment you will receive an automated order confirmation email containing your order number, an itemised summary of products purchased, the total amount paid (including any applicable shipping fees), and an estimated dispatch timeline. A VAT invoice is available on request — please email Contact@precisionresearchuk.co.uk quoting your order number.
4. Pricing, VAT & Shipping
- All prices displayed on the site are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable.
- Shipping is free for orders over £90.00. Orders below this threshold are charged a flat shipping fee that is shown at checkout before payment is confirmed.
- We reserve the right to change product prices at any time. The price that applies to your order is the price displayed at the moment you complete checkout.
5. Failed or Declined Payments
If your payment fails, is declined by your bank, or cannot be verified, your order will not be created and no products will be reserved for you. Please check with your bank, ensure sufficient funds are available, and try again. If the issue persists, contact our support team and we will help you complete your order via an alternative method.
6. Discounts, Coupons & Promotions
Discount codes must be entered at checkout before payment is made. Codes cannot be applied retrospectively to completed orders. Only one discount code can be used per order unless explicitly stated. Multi-buy and volume discounts (e.g. Buy More Save More) are applied automatically in the cart.
7. Billing Information Accuracy
You are responsible for ensuring that the billing and shipping information you provide is accurate and complete. Precision Research UK Ltd is not liable for orders delayed, lost or returned due to incorrect information supplied at checkout. Any re-shipping costs that arise from incorrect information will be charged to the customer.
8. Security
Our entire site is served over encrypted HTTPS. We do not store full card or bank account details on our servers — payment data is handled directly by our regulated payment provider. For more detail on how we handle your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9. Refunds
Where a refund is approved under our Return & Refund Policy, funds will be returned to the original payment account within 5–10 business days of approval. We do not issue cash refunds.
10. Research-Use-Only Notice
All products sold at Precision Research UK Ltd are strictly for in-vitro laboratory research use only and are not intended for human or veterinary consumption. By completing payment you confirm that you are purchasing for legitimate research purposes and that you accept our full Terms & Conditions.
