Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Precision Research UK Ltd, we know that fast, discreet and reliable delivery is essential for laboratory research. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains where we ship, how long it takes, how much it costs and what to do if anything goes wrong with your delivery.
1. Where We Ship
We currently dispatch orders to addresses within the United Kingdom (UK) only. This includes England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We do not ship to international addresses, BFPO/British Forces addresses, or freight-forwarding services at this time.
Restricted regions: Although we are based in the UK, we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses or to addresses that we are unable to verify. If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your address, please contact us before placing your order.
2. Shipping Methods & Rates
All UK orders are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 24 — a fully tracked next-business-day service.
- Standard Delivery: Royal Mail Tracked 24 — flat rate calculated at checkout.
- Free Delivery: Orders over £90.00 ship free via Royal Mail Tracked 24.
- Tracking: A tracking number is emailed to you on dispatch.
3. Processing & Dispatch Times
- Mon–Fri before 2:00 pm: Dispatched the same business day.
- Mon–Fri after 2:00 pm: Dispatched the next business day.
- Saturday, Sunday or UK bank holiday: Dispatched the next business day.
Orders are dispatched only after payment has been received and cleared.
4. Estimated Delivery Times
Royal Mail Tracked 24 typically delivers the next business day after dispatch. Estimated delivery is 1–2 business days for most UK addresses. Remote areas (Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands) may take an additional 1–2 business days.
5. Packaging & Discretion
All orders are dispatched in plain, discreet packaging with no external branding that identifies the contents. Temperature-sensitive products are protected appropriately for transit.
6. Tracking Your Order
As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive an email containing your Royal Mail tracking number and a link to track your parcel.
7. Failed Deliveries & Re-Delivery
If Royal Mail attempts delivery and no one is available, they will leave a card and either attempt re-delivery, leave the parcel in a safe place, or hold it at your local delivery office.
If a parcel is returned to us because it was not collected, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Re-shipping fees apply.
8. Lost or Delayed Parcels
- Wait 5 business days after expected delivery before reporting a parcel as lost.
- Open a claim with us within 14 days of dispatch.
- Once Royal Mail confirms loss, we will dispatch a replacement at no extra cost or issue a refund per our Return & Refund Policy.
9. Incorrect Address Details
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for parcels delivered to the wrong address as a result of incorrect details supplied by the customer.
10. Damaged Parcels on Arrival
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged or with compromised seals, please photograph the parcel before opening and contact us within 7 days of delivery. See our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
